Was the oft-predicted Red Wave losing its energy? Were Americans being duped into believing that Sleepy Joe was awake at the wheel because gas prices went down a few cents after raising by dollars? Were Americans duped by Sleepy Joe’s claims that inflation was at 0% because it didn’t rise above 8.5% for a month?
Doubtful, but not outside of the realm of possibilities. It is hard to imagine that anyone capable of basic research would still be donning masks too, especially cloth ones, but take a trip to Southern California sometime and you will observe this often enough that it will make you sad.
A report in the Western Journal this week contends that the Red Wave was indeed losing its energy. Point of fact–waves do not actually lose energy, the energy just gets spread out as the wave moves along and is absorbed by the general environment. The Stasi-like raid on Mar-a-Lago changed everything though and reinvigorated the wave into a Liz Cheney crusher.
The report points to the Fake News inventive “facts” of the gas prices, jobs reports, and the inflation rate, being megaphoned to the American people as being the general environment that was absorbing the Red Waves energy. Fake News outlets such as the Washington Post, New York Times, and CNN had all been touting their interpretation of facts for weeks and making the case that democrats still had hope for the midterms.
Then came the Mar-a-Lago raid, the pig that the media was unable to put lipstick on. The legacy Fake News outlets tried all kinds of lipstick on that pig– they tried a bright shade of “Trump is going to sell information!”, a shade of “Super classified materials”, and a shade of “nuclear codes!! that really popped! Yet, the pig kept squirming and nothing was sticking.
The report cites a poll conducted by the Trafalgar Group to back up the claim that the democrats hail mary of a raid is what did them in. The poll asked, “Does the FBI raid on President Trump increase your motivation to vote in the 2022 election?” This question was asked of about 1,000 likely voters within two days of the raid. The reported results are that “ 83.2 percent of Republicans and 55.2 percent of Democrats said yes.” Or, in other words, “30 percent more Republicans than Democrats are now more likely to vote in November’s midterms.”
While not everyone agrees that the Red Wave was losing energy, most do agree that the FBI’s politically motivated raid did give the Wave an energy boost.
Mark Meckler, president of the Convention of States Action, stated:
“This FBI thing is off the charts,” Meckler said. “I can just tell you that from dealing with grassroots all over the country, people are freaking out. And by that I mean, they’re going to vote, they’re going to drag everybody they know to the polls.”
“And a lot of people who weren’t that enthused don’t like the police-state stuff and they’re going to come out and vote, too.”
“47.9% of the respondents to the Trafalgar poll indicated that they believed the Mar-a-Lago raid was politically motivated rather than the result of an “impartial justice system.”
One result of the poll that was surprising was the manner in which the Hispanic community responded–“80 percent of Hispanic respondents reported being more likely to vote in 2022 and 69.9 percent of Hispanics believed “Trump’s political enemies” were behind the FBI raid.”
Meckler further theorized that “…you’ve got a lot of Hispanic people in this country that came from one form or another of totalitarian regime. Obviously, they’ve got a large Cuban population and people from Venezuela. Mexico is a corrupt country. A lot of countries in South and Central America have endemic corruption. And when they see an event like this, it’s very much like what happens in those countries, where you stay president as long as you can because you know when you’re not anymore you’re likely to get arrested and thrown in jail.”
One thing is certain, Americans reacted with their wallets. Eric Trump posted to Twitter that fundraising shattered records after the raid and that the “American people are pissed!”
